Summer Fruit Slush

Updated: Sep 10, 2020

It may feel like it's cooling down outside, but we have another week of HOT weather coming! While you're soaking in the last little bit of summer, why not have a drink in your hand?

If you know me, you know that I am all about a slush when it's hot. Cherry is usually my favorite but I decided to get a little crazy and add in some more fruit to really give me those summer vibes.

Ingredients:

  • 1.5 cups of ice

  • 1 cup of frozen red cherries

  • 1 cup of frozen strawberries

  • 1 cup of canned chopped mangos (juice included)

  • 1/2 cup of orange juice (no pulp)

  • 1 cup of water

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 4 tbsp of sugar (you can always add more sugar to make it sweeter, but I think this is the PERFECT amount to balance out the cherries and lemon juice)

Directions:

  1. Add the ice and frozen fruit to the blender.

  2. Then add all your liquids and sugar.

  3. Blend on high until everything is smooth and combined.

*NOTE: If you want to get a little boujee with it (or boozy if you will LOL...), replace the water and OJ with white wine!

ENJOY!
